Today is just like another day,

Just a day where firms market things,.in the name of friendship,

And kids go crazy over it....

It was different all together years back.

Years back friendship was different,

It was more eternal than external

It wasn't just about the fun together,

But about the life together....

Sailing through life facing hurdles,

Storms, and waves

A boat may fail but not a mighty ship,

A ship powered by trust, love and care

Of friends.

Not many but only a few can sail together,

Those who lend a hand to pull you

While the world pushes you down,

Those who walk in when the world sprints off...

Friendship is pushing dreams together,

Erasing failures,

And laughing through days together

It is a feeling of Hope,

In the shallow water of failures.

It is the rope of faith 

Tied firm atop success....

Know those who you sail along with,

Today just let them know you gave them a thought,

That's enough to know 

It's deeper than any bands on hands,

Or any names on your clothes..

That's a lovely sense of affection and togetherness
